About Us
Dr Nisha Patel

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) with over 10 years of experience in the NHS. I specialise in working with children, young people, and their families.
I am skilled in providing comprehensive assessments and evidence-based psychological interventions to children, young people and families experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. I am also experienced in offering parenting interventions supporting parents to navigate the challenges of parenting. I work closely with parents, schools and other organisations/professionals to ensure the young person is well supported.
My approach is collaborative, creative, and person-centred. I draw on a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic, Narrative and Attachment Therapy.
The therapeutic relationship, remaining curious and considering difficulties from multiple perspectives is central to my way of working. I aim to provide a safe therapeutic space for clients which holds in mind their personal, social, and cultural circumstances allowing them to make sense of their difficulties and supporting them to find ways of managing.
